At Cupcake Tales, we believe every child deserves a storybook ending filled with hope, imagination, and opportunity. Through literacy programs, creative resources, and a commitment to nurturing young minds, we empower children to turn the pages of possibility and write their own successful futures. Together, we’re helping every child’s story become one of triumph, joy, and endless potential.

Our Impact

At Cupcake Tales, our mission is to foster literacy and life skills in young minds, ensuring every child has the tools and support they need to thrive. Here’s how we’ve been making an impact:
Building on our previous successes, this year we’re expanding our impact with exciting new programs and partnerships:

• Tutoring Services: Helping students achieve academic success through focused, one-on-one support.

• Partnership with Grooming Greatness: Collaborating with this local nonprofit to extend our reach and provide additional resources to students.

• Social Outings: Providing students with opportunities to explore new environments that enhance their learning experiences and build real-world skills.
Last school year, we focused on providing students with essential resources and creating opportunities for learning and growth. Here’s what we achieved:

• Over 400 Donated Books: Bringing the joy of reading directly to students and encouraging literacy.

• Headsets for Students: Ensuring a better learning experience by supporting technology-based education.

• Pre-Filled Backpacks: Distributed backpacks filled with school supplies such as glue sticks, pens, composition books, and more to help students start the school year prepared.

• Toiletry Bags: Providing hygiene essentials to support students’ well-being.

• Friday Morning Storytime: Our volunteers read to students at the start of the day, fostering a love for stories and learning.
Cupcake Tales is more than just a literacy program—it’s a movement to equip children with the skills, resources, and confidence they need to succeed academically and personally. Every book, every storytime, and every initiative contributes to shaping the future of our students and our community.

I absolutely loved the experience as a tutor! It was a blessing to get to know and be inspired by the kids. I remember our first kid, Alex, who always shouted out loud confidently, "Yep!" and "I can do this" when we let him read a paragraph in the children's books. The pure positive energy and the dazzling confidence was exactly what I needed as I was going through a very stressful and unstable time of my life. it made me realize that every time as we're trying to make a difference in others' lives, we always end up changing our own.
This reading enrichment program has greatly enhanced my son's interest in reading and his skills. He looks forward to his Saturday sessions. Not only does he have fun, but he is learning. I highly recommend participation for any child!
